This Week's Sponsor: ----> The Week That Never Happened <----

Did you notice the subject heading for this week's newsletter?

"Final Issue" it says.

Well, don't run to your optometrist 'cuz your eyes are not playing tricks on you. You read it correctly. This is the final
issue of The Handmade Beauty Connection Online Newsletter.

APRIL FOOL'S!! That's right! I'm kidding BIG TIME! But if there ever was a time when the newsletter would be discontinued, it  would be a week like the one I just finished up. That's why I am officially declaring last week The Week That Never Happened.

Have you ever had The Week That Never Happened? (I see lots of nodding heads out there in cyber-land!) In case you haven't, it's a week where you start out confidently tackling all of the fun and exciting things you have to do, and looking forward to all those check marks that will appear on your "To Do" List. Then, from out of nowhere, The Week That Never Happened happens.

Since I decided that I only had a few minutes to finalize this week's newsletter for you, rather than send out a lousy issue and risk having your fingers head for the Dreaded DELETE key, I figured I would just let The Week That Never Happened sponsor this week's newsletter. (Special thanks to this week's real sponsor, Rosanne Tartaro of SunRose Aromatics, who graciously allowed me to transfer her sponsorship to next week, which WILL happen!!)

For those subscribers who are new and were looking forward to some recipes, product reviews and a chance to win some great fragrant prizes, I hope you'll settle for a little humor just this once.

Here are some of the things that did NOT happen to me during The Week That Never Happened.

1. After speaking at a conference last weekend, I did NOT arrive at the airport 15 seconds after my flight dispatched from the gate as I tried to return home to my infant daughter, thus requiring me to spend a tear-filled extra night away from her (and her by then *really* stressed out father).

2. The server hosting all 5 of my Web sites serving the handmade toiletries community did NOT break down causing havoc all around, and preventing me from uploading this week's newsletter to the Web site archives.

3. My daughter did NOT contract the Cold Of The Century, causing her to be unable to breathe for 4 nights in a row, and requiring her mother (and occasionally, but not as often, her father) to suffer through several nearly totally sleepless nights.

4. I did NOT eat a whole pint of coffee flavored Hagen Daaz ice cream all by myself Saturday night when my daughter slept for a whopping 2 hours straight.

5. I did NOT accidentally delete two very important folders from my Outlook folder list, requiring me to reconstruct lots of important business events which, unfortunately, I cannot pretend did not happen.

6. I did NOT lose my telephone book. (I used to have a Palm Pilot but for some, certain things just have to be written down on paper.)

7. I did NOT forget that I had invited some people over on Saturday and then have to renege on the invitation when they reminded me they were coming.

As a result of these and other things that did NOT happen last week, I officially declare last week The Week That Never Happened, and allow it the honor of sponsoring this week's issue of The Handmade Beauty Connection Online Newsletter.

On a more serious note, stay tuned next week (which I officially declare WILL happen) for new recipes, a new product review by a guest reviewer, a fantastic new prize for the winner of the handmade beauty trivia contest and a whole lot more!!

Thanks for your patience this week, The Week That Never Happened!!
