Your skin is the largest organ of your body. It weights between 7 and 9 pounds and can stretch to about 20 square feet. An inch of your skin is packed with 100 oil glands, 15 feet of blood vessels and two different types of sweat glands. Your skin breathes all around you, providing a protective suit for body and soul. Your Skin. Your Choice.

4. THIS WEEK'S RECIPE -- EZ Breathe Salve I made EZ Breathe Salve earlier this year for a friend who was suffering with a stubborn head cold. Massaging a bit of EZ Breathe Salve onto her chest and areas where the aromatic vapors could be easily inhaled helped ease her congestion.

36 grams extra virgin olive oil
8 grams natural beeswax
2 drops thyme (Thymus vulgaris-linalol type) essential oil
2 drops frankincense (Boswellia carteri) essential oil
3 drops ravensare (Ravensare aromatica) essential oil
5 drops eucalyptus (Eucalyptus radiata) essential oil
3 drops niaouli (Malaleuca quinquenervia viridiflora) essential oil

Using double boiler method, melt oil and wax together until wax is completely liquefied. Stir to ensure the mix. Remove from heat source. Allow to cool for a few minutes before adding essential oils. Stir well. Pour into clean pot to cool completely. Label and store in cool place. Use clean stir stick or cosmetic stick to dispense. Massage onto chest and areas where vapors can easily be inhaled to help ease congestion. For adult use only.
