If you are already a member of the Handcraftes Soap Makers Guild and you already have this insurance through that organization, please email IBN so we can make sure you can join IBN without having to purchase another insurance policy. If you do not believe you fall into any of the categories below, please email IBN with your questions, and put "MEMBER CATEGORY QUESTION" as your subject. You'll get a response quickly!

Full Indie with $1M insurance ($495 per year)

To abide by the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in the manufacture of handmade toiletries in order to promote superior quality products and the safety of the consuming public.
To provide the public with useful, reliable and truthful information about the benefits of handmade toiletries products.
To compete within the bounds of the law, respecting others' ownership rights in the expression of their ideas.
To abide by all federal and state laws concerning the manufacture and sale of handmade toiletries products.
I understand that if I have the products liability insurance member benefit, the policy will expire a year from today. I further acknowledge that the insurance broker will not send me a renewal notice and that it is my responsibility to renew my membership with insurance before it expires 12 months from today, or the policy and IBN membership will lapse. This does not apply to me if I am renewing without IBN's insurance program.
